The ARI Stainless Steel V-Band Replacement is an upgrade to the factory V-Band clamp used on all factory Abarth and Alfa Romeo Garrett and Borg Warner turbochargers. Specifically for use in 1.4 and 1750 engines.
The factory clamp is made of an aluminized steel material which can rust on the inside of the band in long term use and has a different expansion rate to the rear housing material of the turbocharger. This causes stretching overtime and can lead to leaking and/or siezing.
The ARI replacement is a complete redesign of the clamp made with 304 Stainless Steel Inox and uses a different design on the thread, nut and locating ring, ensuring none of the OEM issues can occur.
